How to Use Zelle
How to Use Zelle
For your convenience, you can send a payment for your charged items, or make a donation through Zelle. Because there are no fees associated with Zelle, the entire amount you send goes to the shul. If you are a shul member in good standing, you can use Zelle to combine into one payment all your donations that have been billed to your account. Zelle can also support recurring payments, depending on that availability with your own bank. All these, plus the fact that Zelle is safer than putting a check in the mail, lend to its desirability in place of mailing a check to the shul.
Please make use of Zelle's MEMO/NOTE area to explain --
- what the donation is for, or what charge you want your payment applied to.
- include your name as we have it in our records, e.g. your account with the shul shows your name as Moshe, but your bank has Morris, as your banking name might be different from your shul account name, and we want to make sure to apply the funds to the correct account
Your funds can be sent to the shul through Zelle at --
When you create the Recipient in Zelle, it will reflect back to you that this email address belongs to--
- Congregation Tiferes Yisroel.
After the payment has been submitted, you will receive a message from your bank confirming the transfer.
Of course you can still continue to use PayPal or your credit card to pay on the shul website. And please continue to use the forms that we send for event registrations and sponsorships. You can bill those to your account if you are a shul member in good standing, and pay later with Zelle.

Pushka Challenge
The pushka challenge is to put something into a pushka every day, e.g. 36 cents a day. When your pushka is full, empty it into a ziplock bag marked with your name, and drop it into the locked mailbox at 3310 W. Strathmore Avenue. If it is difficult for you to drop it off, please contact Shlomo and Ahuva Goldberger at 410-358-4456 to arrange a pickup.
